Main Applications

Product Features

6.1. Color change

It changes color with the change of temperature. It is black at low temperature. When the temperature rises, the color disappears and becomes colorless. After cooling, it returns to black. This change can repeat more than one thousand times.

 

6.2. Micro-encapsulation

The core of thermochromic pigment is micro-encapsulation technology. It enhances the stability and durability of thermochromic pigment, protects the pigment from the erosion of other chemicals. Therefore, it is very important to avoid damaging this coating during processing.

 

6.3. Colors and temperature intervals constitute a lot of pigments

The temperature that thermochromic pigments change color is not a temperature point, but a temperature range, 3-5 0C. That is, the temperature range included from the start of the color T1, change to the end of the color change T2. Different temperature control factors can be selected by different temperature control factors. Thermochromic pigment changes color at intervals. There are many kinds of variable temperature pigments, and the temperature range of variable temperature discoloration can also be adjusted. Different series of temperature sensitive pigments can match each other to obtain more colors, so as to produce different colors at different temperatures.

 

6.4. Precautions for usage
Light resistance, heat resistance and aging resistance are not as good as ordinary pigments.
Light resistance: temperature sensitive color changing pigment has poor light resistance. It will fade quickly in strong sunlight, so it is only suitable for indoor use. Strong sunlight and ultraviolet rays will shorten the service life of thermochromic pigments.
