Use

Mainly used as a colorant for glass and ceramics, a raw material for the manufacture of neodymium metal and a raw material for strong magnetic neodymium iron boron.

Neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet is used in laser technology. It is also used to make neodymium glass. Because of its excellent absorption of ultraviolet and infrared, it is used to make precision instruments. It is the raw material for making neodymium metal and various neodymium alloys and permanent magnet alloys. Can be used as glass purple colorant.

It is used as the coloring and magnetic materials for TV bulbs, glassware, the raw materials for manufacturing metal neodymium and the raw materials for strong magnetic neodymium iron boron.

Application The application and research of neodymium oxide in the field of catalysis are also gradually expanded, such as the synthesis of carboxylic acid esters and the amination of fatty alcohols. Nano neodymium oxide has good catalytic activity. production method

The extraction method takes rare earth chloride solution as raw material and extracts it with P204 kerosene HCl rcl3 system. The rare earth mixture is divided into light, medium and heavy rare earth groups, precipitated with oxalic acid, separated, dried and burned to prepare neodymium oxide. The precipitate is heated to 140 ℃ with 12mol / LNaOH solution to form hydroxide, washed with water to remove ph43 -, and then neutralized, dissolved, filtered, concentrated and crystallized in 1:4 to form neodymium sulfate crystal with high purity. Then precipitate with (NH4) 2CO3, filter, wash and dry, and calcine at 80 ℃ for 1h to obtain pure Nd2O3 with content ≥ 99.0%. The total recovery of neodymium is more than 90.00%. Its
